Buying in Bosques de las Lomas

Apartments for sale in Bosques de las Lomas range from classic buildings near Paseo de los Laureles to newer towers stacked against the ravine edges, many with wide terraces facing the Barranca del Chamizal. Buying here places you between the offices of Paseo de los Tamarindos and the quiet residential streets above them, with the Paseo Arcos Bosques shopping center inside the colonia for daily errands. The same money buys noticeably more space in Santa Fe Cuajimalpa. On the Miguel Hidalgo side of the zone, Bosque de las Lomas adds many more apartments to the search.

What to consider before buying

In buildings from the colonia's first stages, ask the year of construction and whether elevators, waterproofing and installations have been renewed; facades here are kept too well to tell from the street. In towers hanging over the ravine, request the documentation on slope stabilization and ask who maintains it, the condominium or the borough. For comparison on the neighboring ridges within Cuajimalpa, look at Lomas de Vista Hermosa before deciding what the view over the barranca is worth to you.
