Living in Lomas de Vista Hermosa

Renting an apartment in Lomas de Vista Hermosa almost always means living in a recent tower: buildings lined up along the barranca, the wooded ravine on the colonia's edge, and around the Club de Golf Bosques, with windows onto treetops or fairways. Tower living continues into nearby Lomas del Chamizal and Santa Fe Cuajimalpa, but here the golf course and the ravine, not the office blocks, set the scenery: the location trades street bustle for quiet, with the corporate corridor minutes away by car.

What to consider before renting

Ask which road the building enters from: arriving via Avenida Loma de la Palma or via the Carretera al Olivo puts you on different sides of the colonia and changes the daily drive, especially at rush hour on the México-Toluca corridor. The larger developments group several towers, so confirm exactly which tower and level the unit is on: an apartment looking into the barranca and one facing the highway are different experiences. If the building sits on the barranca rim, ask from which floor the windows clear the treetops: the lower levels look into the canopy rather than over it.
