Living in Bosques de las Lomas

Renting an apartment in Bosques de las Lomas usually means a tower on the edge of a ravine: buildings along Paseo de los Tamarindos and the streets dropping toward the Barranca del Chamizal, where the view from the terrace is treetops instead of a neighboring facade. The corporate towers of the corridor keep a steady coming and going of tenants, and furnished units are common, geared to relocations. Expect prices above Santa Fe Cuajimalpa, a few minutes further west.

What to consider before renting

Check which exit the building uses: the looping streets mean two towers that look close on the map can leave the colonia on opposite sides, and at office hours that difference is real commute time. If you need it furnished, say so from the start; enough apartments here come that way that the requirement will not empty your shortlist. Also compare Lomas del Chamizal and, across the borough line, Bosque de las Lomas.
