Apartments for rent in Mexico City
Living in Mexico City (CDMX)
Apartment life in CDMX follows a handful of corridors. Paseo de la Reforma and Juárez put you on Metrobús Line 7 with the Bosque de Chapultepec at one end and the Centro Histórico at the other. Nuevo Polanco is the newest vertical stretch, built on former industrial land, with gyms, roof terraces and shops downstairs. Further south, Del Valle and Narvarte are the mid rise grid: calm streets, Metro Lines 3 and 12, and more room for your money.
What to consider before renting
Which way the windows face matters here: a unit over Insurgentes or Circuito Interior is a different life from one on an interior street two blocks away. Older central buildings often come without an elevator or a parking space, while the newer towers fold amenities and parking into the price. When the budget is the constraint, the same kind of building costs much less in Azcapotzalco, by the El Rosario terminals of Metro Lines 6 and 7, or in Iztapalapa on the east side.
