Buying in Azcapotzalco

Buying in Azcapotzalco means weighing character against budget across a handful of distinct pockets. Clavería, on the southeast edge near the Miguel Hidalgo border, carries some of the most character and value in the borough, with tree-lined streets of early twentieth-century houses. The historic center, anchored by the old parish and Jardín Hidalgo, has a similar draw for buyers who want a sense of place. Moving east, Del Gas and Ampliación Del Gas sit along Circuito Interior and price well below the historic core, and the El Rosario and Vallejo corridor, further northwest, is where a budget stretches furthest of all.

What to consider before buying

Location inside the borough shapes price more than almost anything else here. Buyers drawn to the walkable, established feel of Clavería should expect to pay for that address, while Santa Bárbara, close to the historic plaza, offers a similar sense of history at a gentler price. Commuters should also weigh access to Metro Línea 6 and Línea 7, both anchored at El Rosario, and to Circuito Interior and Calzada Vallejo. Buyers who want an even more central, higher-value address just south can cross into Miguel Hidalgo toward Anzures.
