Buying in Naucalpan

Price swings more inside Naucalpan than across most municipios. The strip along the Mexico City line sits at the top: Lomas Hipódromo around the Club de Golf Chapultepec, and Lomas Country Club, a gated fraccionamiento built around its own eighteen-hole course on Avenida Club de Golf Lomas. Ciudad Satélite and its 1950s blocks land in the middle. North of the Periférico, along Avenida Gustavo Baz, the tree-lined streets of Bosque de Echegaray come in well below both, and Lomas Verdes climbs the hill west of them.

What to consider before buying

The gap between zones is what to plan around. Buying on the Mexico City line costs close to what the capital's poniente costs, while the same budget reaches much further north of the Periférico in Boulevares or Jardines de San Mateo. Terrain matters too: west of Avenida Lomas Verdes the lots are cut into hillside, so gardens are terraced and driveways run steep. For more ground per peso on flatter land, Atizapán de Zaragoza continues north.
