Living in Lomas de Chapultepec II Sección

Lomas de Chapultepec II Sección is one of the interior sections of Lomas de Chapultepec: Paseo de las Palmas runs through it, and from there its residential streets take the names of mountains and ranges, such as Sierra Aconcagua, Monte Líbano and Avenida de los Alpes. This is the quiet side of the colonia: tree-lined sidewalks, walled single-family homes and a few low apartment buildings near Palmas, away from the corporate feel of the big avenues. Rentals here are scarce: apartments for rent in Lomas de Chapultepec II Sección come up from time to time, and houses only rarely.

What to consider before renting

Because the section is interior, almost every trip starts by getting out to Paseo de las Palmas, Monte Líbano or Avenida de los Alpes, and there is no Metro station anywhere in the colonia: plan on a car, or on the buses that run along Palmas.
