Feng shui, an Eastern discipline focused on seeking harmony, positive energy, and balance, has already inspired constructions such as the Trump Tower in New York and the Osaka airport, and is now present in Mexican constructions.

In Guadalajara, the Zhen Towers, a development of 18 apartments, incorporates concepts from the currents of feng shui and zen.

Juan Jorge Favier, the project director, stated that thanks to its Eastern design, there is no need for air conditioning or heating.

Currently, in the United States, a property built with the principles of feng shui is priced 10 percent higher than a traditional construction.

Feng means wind or energy, shui means water. These elements are designed to attract positive energy.
Harmony and conjunction in their spaces are two of the most important compositional values in this project, Favier described.

Elements such as light, earth, water, wood, and metal are present in the harmonization of these spaces, in accordance with what is proposed by the Eastern Zen philosophy and the art of feng shui.

"The spaciousness of the apartments is linked to the finishes, such as hardwood floors, natural aluminum windows, kitchens combined with wood, bathrooms covered in ceramic combined with marble, and indirect lighting," Favier detailed.

These residential towers are developed on a plot of 4,635 square meters, have one apartment per floor, and are connected by a cylinder of vertical circulations with 2 elevators and a service lift.

They have a booth for controlling vehicular and pedestrian access, closed-circuit surveillance, access with automated locks, parking for 72 vehicles, and individual storage rooms for each unit.

> Their windows make the most of natural light, and the use of pure materials such as sand, granite, and marble offers clean textures.
The surfaces of the apartments are 350 square meters. While the units on the ground floor have an additional 100 square meters of private area corresponding to the terrace, the penthouses have a total area of 613 square meters.

Elementos como la luz, la tierra, el agua, la madera, y el metal, están presentes en la armonización de estos espacios, acordes a lo propuesto por la filosofía oriental Zen y el arte del feng shui.


"La amplitud de los departamentos va ligada con los acabados, como pisos de duela, ventanería en aluminio natural, cocina combinada con madera, baños recubiertos en cerámica combinado con mármol e iluminación indirecta", detalló Favier.


Estas torres residenciales están desarrolladas en un terreno de 4 mil 635 metros cuadrados, tienen un departamento por piso y se encuentran conectadas por un cilindro de circulaciones verticales con 2 elevadores y un montacargas de servicio.


Tienen caseta para control de ingreso vehicular y peatonal, circuito cerrado de vigilancia, acceso con cerraduras automatizadas, estacionamiento para 72 vehículos y bodegas individuales por unidad.



> Sus ventanas aprovechan al máximo la luz natural y el uso de materiales puros como arena, granito y mármol ofrecen texturas limpias.
Las superficies de los departamentos son de 350 metros cuadrados. Mientras que las unidades en planta baja cuentan con 100 metros cuadrados más de área privada correspondiente a la terraza, los penthouse cuentan con una superficie total de 613 metros cuadrados.
