Bosques de las Lomas is the Cuajimalpa side of a zone that continues, under an almost identical name, into Miguel Hidalgo: streets named after trees (Paseo de los Laureles, Paseo de los Ahuehuetes Sur) winding along wooded ravines, apartment towers looking over the Barranca del Chamizal, and the office corridor of Paseo de los Tamarindos as its spine. Renting here mostly means an apartment in one of those towers; houses are published far less often. The neighboring colonia Bosque de las Lomas is the Miguel Hidalgo side of the zone, the one that leans toward Paseo de la Reforma rather than Santa Fe.

What to consider before renting

A good share of tenants come for the offices along Paseo de los Tamarindos: if yours is in the Arcos Bosques complex, check whether the building you like lets you walk to work, because the ravine layout makes some blocks much farther on foot than they look on the map.
