Buying in Bosque de las Lomas

On the Miguel Hidalgo side of Bosques de las Lomas, houses set the tone: they make up most of what is for sale, the reverse of the Cuajimalpa side, where apartment towers dominate. Its eastern neighbor, Lomas de Chapultepec, shares the same large-house character.

What to consider before buying

On this side the choice is usually between a 1970s original and a rebuild on the same tree-named street, not between towers as across the ravine in Cuajimalpa; ask exactly what was renewed before assuming which one you are seeing. Walk each candidate at more than one hour of the day: on lots that fall toward the green, lower floors gain the view but lose direct sun.
