Living in Nuevo Polanco

Nuevo Polanco rose from old industrial land into a district of glass residential towers, and that origin shapes daily life here. Most people rent because their office is a few minutes away: the corridor along Ejército Nacional and Río San Joaquín holds headquarters for major companies, and living here trades a long commute for a short one. What you'll find is almost entirely apartments, many of them furnished and move-in ready, inside buildings with gyms, rooftops and controlled access. It sits a short hop from Polanco, but leans newer, taller and more corporate than its neighbor.

What to consider before renting

Life here runs on malls and cars rather than sidewalks. Miyana, Antara and Plaza Carso cover groceries, pharmacies, cinema and dining, and Costco, Sam's Club and Hospital Español are all within easy reach, yet the blocks between towers aren't especially walkable. Buildings loaded with amenities are easy to find here, so much that you may rarely need to leave your own. If you'd rather have a house or a leafier street, apartments for rent in Anzures offer a lower-rise alternative next door.
