Living in Narvarte

Narvarte is one of those Benito Juárez neighborhoods where you can rent close to the center without the pace or the price of the areas just north of it. Renting here puts you a short ride from Roma, with Avenida Cuauhtémoc, Eje Central and Line 3 of the Metro all within reach. Most of what comes up for rent are apartments, from mid-century buildings to newer units, with a smaller number of houses. Everyday life leans on the neighborhood's own markets, the 24 de Agosto and the Primero de Diciembre, plus the Sunday tianguis on Obrero Mundial.

What to consider before renting

Narvarte Poniente and Narvarte Oriente have a similar feel but rent at different levels, so it pays to look at both before deciding. Houses are a small share of what rents here, so if you want one, or a quieter residential grid, neighboring Del Valle is worth adding to your search.
