Buying in Zapopan

Almost every apartment building in Zapopan is recent, and they line up west to east across the municipality. Puerta Plata and Puerta de Hierro sit at the top, on the Patria corridor beside Andares. Valle Real and Lomas Altas come next, and Zapopan Centro, around the Basílica and the Line 3 terminus, is the most affordable and the best connected of the three. Prices climb steadily as you move west along the corridor toward Andares.

What to consider before buying

Look at what is approved on the surrounding lots before you pay for a view, because the Patria and Acueducto corridor has been adding towers continuously and the skyline keeps closing in. Maintenance fees track the amenity package, so compare them building to building rather than treating them as a detail. The corridor's flood points are worth checking against the specific address, and so is the drive you would actually make each morning.
