Progreso, officially Progreso de Castro, is a port city in the Mexican state of Yucatán, and the head of the homonymous municipality. It is located to the northwest of the entity on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, about 35 km north of Mérida, the state capital.

Progreso is the base of an important fishing industry, having consolidated since the construction of the Deep Water Port, a unique maritime installation consisting of a viaduct that extends into the sea for 6.5 km to gain depth and allow the docking of vessels with a draft of up to 10 m, serving as a strategic center for the logistics of exporters and importers from the Yucatán Peninsula and being awarded in 2023 with the Guinness World Record as the longest dock in the world.
