-HUEPOXTLA-
Located in the Zumpango region, with a population of 46,757 inhabitants (2020). Its name comes from Nahuatl and means "place where great merchants abound". It is characterized by a tranquil environment, colonial houses of New Spanish architecture, and the Luis Espinosa de los Monteros dam.

-LOCATION AND GEOGRAPHY-
It borders the state of Hidalgo to the north and Zumpango to the south, about 78 km from CDMX. The municipal seat is Villa de San Bartolomé Hueypoxtla.

-PLACES OF INTEREST-
The Parish of San Bartolomé stands out, known for its 19th-century crypt and its 15th-century structure, and the Luis Espinosa de los Monteros dam, built in the early 20th century.

-ECONOMY AND DEMOGRAPHY-
The majority of the population is concentrated in young age ranges (10-19 years). The economy includes agriculture and local commerce.

Situado en la región Zumpango, con una población de 46,757 habitantes (2020). Su nombre proviene del náhuatl y significa "lugar donde abundan grandes comerciantes". Se caracteriza por un ambiente tranquilo, casonas de arquitectura novohispana y la presa Luis Espinosa de los Monteros.

-UBICACIÓN Y GEOGRAFÍA-
Limita al norte con el estado de Hidalgo y al sur con Zumpango, a unos 78 km de la CDMX. La cabecera municipal es Villa de San Bartolomé Hueypoxtla.

-LUGARES DE INTERÉS-
Destaca la Parroquia de San Bartolomé, conocida por su cripta del siglo XIX y su estructura del siglo XV, y la presa Luis Espinosa de los Monteros, construida a principios del siglo XX.

-ECONOMÍA Y DEMOGRAFÍA-
La mayoría de la población se concentra en rangos de edad jóvenes (10-19 años). La economía cuenta con agricultura y comercio local.
