Buying in Miguel Hidalgo

Miguel Hidalgo is the most expensive borough in the city to buy in, and where a budget lands depends on the corridor. Lomas de Chapultepec and Lomas Altas, wedged between Reforma and Constituyentes, sit at the very top, alongside Polanco itself. Bosque de las Lomas and Lomas de Bezares continue the same corridor toward Cuajimalpa at a somewhat gentler price, still trading houses and buildings behind gated streets. Buyers priced out of the Lomas side often look toward Nuevo Polanco, where new towers sell at a lower entry point than Polanco proper while staying inside the same walkable center.

What to consider before buying

For a lower entry price without leaving the borough, Verónica Anzures and Escandón, both near the borough's eastern edge, sell for noticeably less than Polanco or the Lomas corridor. Reforma and the Circuito Interior connect Miguel Hidalgo to the rest of the city, and Metro Line 7 serves Polanco and Auditorio directly. Buyers set on more land for the price can look south to Álvaro Obregón, where houses on bigger lots cost less than in the Lomas corridor.
