Living in San Pedro Garza García

Houses for rent here sit mostly in the established colonias between the flats and the first slopes of the sierra. Del Valle has the tree-lined streets and the walk to Calzada del Valle, Lomas del Valle climbs just above it, and Fuentes del Valle spreads across the northern flats toward the river. Families are the usual renters, drawn by the schools and by gardens that back onto the mountain, and these houses come with the space the eastern towers trade away.

What to consider before renting

A house on the slopes means a steeper driveway and a garden that needs watering through a long, dry summer, so ask what the upkeep actually involves. Schools are a common reason families rent here, and the drive between the southern colonias and the eastern corporate district crosses the same congested junction twice a day. Bear in mind there is no Metro anywhere in the municipality, so a household here generally runs on two cars. For more houses at lower rents, Santa Catarina is the neighbour to the west.
