Living in Huixquilucan

Apartment rentals concentrate in Bosque Real and Interlomas, which together account for most of what's available, built up around the corporate offices, Universidad Anáhuac and the malls along Paseo Interlomas. Jesús del Monte and Hacienda de las Palmas offer a somewhat smaller, closer-in alternative within the same corridor. Furnished units are the exception across most of the municipality, except in La Herradura, where they're common among the smaller pool of rentals there.

What to consider before renting

Buildings in Bosque Real and Interlomas skew newer and amenity-heavy, so ask what the maintenance fee covers beyond the unit itself, since gyms, coworking spaces and pools are common add-ons in this corridor. In La Herradura, ask directly whether a specific listing is furnished, since the mix varies more than in the newer corridor.
