Sodzil Norte is a subdelegation of the municipality of Mérida in the state of Yucatán located in the southeast of Mexico. The locality is situated around the old estate of Hacienda Sodzil, property that belonged to Olegario Molina, governor of Yucatán in the early 20th century. In the chapel adjacent to the main house rest the remains of the former governor. Currently, the estate is part of a private subdivision. At present, the subdelegation is completely integrated with the city of Mérida.

The name (Sodzil Norte) comes from Sodzil, which in the Maya language means "place of the bats," and Norte to distinguish it from other homonymous localities.

Sodzil Norte es una subcomisaría del municipio de Mérida en el estado de Yucatán localizado en el sureste de México. La localidad se encuentra en torno al antiguo casco de la Hacienda Sodzil, propiedad que fue de Olegario Molina, gobernador de Yucatán a principios del siglo xx. En la capilla adyacente a la casa principal reposan los despojos del exgobernador. En la actualidad el casco es parte de un fraccionamiento privado. En la actualidad la subcomisaría se encuentra totalmente conurbada con la ciudad de Mérida.

El nombre (Sodzil Norte) proviene de Sodzil que en idioma maya significa lugar de los murciélagos y Norte para distinguirla de otras localidades homónimas.
