Esta casa de máquinas presenta una variante de tipo 2, ya que el edificio está resuelto con un gran volumen rectangular, al que le sobresale la techumbre de madera y lámina que abarca todo el edificio, conformando un fuerte parámetro de la plaza al que se alinea.
