Buying in Gustavo A. Madero

Buying in Gustavo A. Madero means choosing a slice of the borough's north-south layout. Lindavista, covering both Lindavista Norte and Lindavista Sur, is the priciest and most established stretch, with mid-century homes and newer buildings a short walk from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional. Moving west, the Vallejo and Industrial corridor along the Azcapotzalco border trades some polish for lower entry prices. East of Lindavista, Secciones San Juan De Aragón borders the Bosque de San Juan de Aragón and draws buyers who want green space without leaving the borough. Buyers set on a more central location sometimes look at Cuauhtémoc instead, just across the southern edge.

What to consider before buying

Prices climb the closer a listing sits to Lindavista Norte and Lindavista Sur, while the Industrial corridor and the blocks nearer the Sierra de Guadalupe to the north stay the most within reach. The borough is easy to cross: Metro Línea 3 links Indios Verdes, Deportivo 18 de Marzo and La Raza, Línea 5 reaches the Instituto del Petróleo and Autobuses del Norte, and Metrobús Línea 1 terminates at Indios Verdes, the busiest transit point in the north. Buyers who want a similar accessible, northern feel with more houses can also consider Azcapotzalco on the other side of Vallejo.
