Almost everything vertical in Santa Fe was built in the last three decades, so buying an apartment here means new or nearly new construction, with the sierra visible from the upper floors and a building designed to keep the gym, the pool and the coworking as part of what you are buying. The corporate core around Santa Fe Centro Ciudad and Santa Fe Cuajimalpa is where towers cluster, lined up along Av. Vasco de Quiroga and Prolongación Paseo de la Reforma. Santa Fe La Loma commands the highest prices in the zone, and Lomas de Santa Fe and ZEDEC Santa Fe are where they land lowest.

What to consider before buying

Many buildings here manage their own water storage, so how a tower is supplied is worth going through before anything else. The El Insurgente station beside the Centro Santa Fe mall is the biggest change to the zone in years, and how close a building sits to it is worth weighing against the old assumption that everything in Santa Fe is a car trip. Visit on a weekday and again on a Sunday: this is an office district, and it empties out at the weekend. Across the state line, Interlomas offers a similar tower life.
